Boris Cherny · Anthropic / Claude

Boris Cherny says prompt-injection defenses for Claude have improved significantly, but the problem becomes more urgent as agents gain autonomy. Anthropic is partnering with Gray Swan on a competition intended to expose remaining weaknesses across the industry.

Aaron Levie · Box CEO

Aaron Levie expects background agents and agent swarms to drive 100–1000 times more token consumption than today’s chat interactions. His core argument is that abundant, cheaper intelligence will unlock work that humans currently cannot parallelize, including continuous QA, security review, document risk analysis, and large-scale audits. He also sees Meta’s open-weight Muse model as an accelerator for enterprise adoption, letting companies combine frontier orchestration with cheaper, tailored models for repeatable workflows.

Garry Tan · Y Combinator President & CEO

Garry Tan highlights the rise of open-weight models as a meaningful shift in the AI stack. The brief post offers no technical detail, but it reinforces the broader builder signal that capable open models are moving from an alternative path toward a mainstream deployment option.

Matt Turck · FirstMark VC and MAD Podcast host

Matt Turck spotlights TypeSafe’s Jev one month after launch, focusing on why it is machine-native AI rather than another chat model. The discussion covers intelligence per dollar, composable System One decisions, controllable probabilities and thresholds, RLHF’s hidden costs, and why copying Jev’s interface is easier than reproducing its intelligence.

Zara Zhang · Builder

Zara Zhang built “The Toddler Times,” a Harry Potter-style newspaper whose images come alive. It is a small but concrete example of generative media moving from isolated image creation toward playful, interactive artifacts.

Dan Shipper · Every CEO

Dan Shipper warns against confusing interpretability with alignment. Finding a neuron associated with a recognizable concept may reveal what a model represents, but it does not tell us what the model is planning; mechanistic insight alone is not a complete safety solution.

Aditya Agarwal · SPC General Partner and Bevel Health Co-founder

Aditya Agarwal argues that Goodfire could become one of SPC’s most important companies because it treats interpretability and alignment as engineering problems. The notable shift is from abstract safety research toward tools and systems that builders can test, measure, and improve.

Jev: The AI That Makes Decisions, Not Text - and Why It Changes Everything (Diogo Almeida)

The Takeaway: TypeSafe CEO Diogo Almeida believes dependable automation will come from cheap, controllable, composable decision models, not from asking general-purpose chat models to reason flawlessly inside ever-larger prompts.

Jev is designed as machine-native AI: software asks it for decisions and probabilities, then applies explicit thresholds and logic. Almeida’s contrarian claim is that AI is already strong at fast “System One” judgments, while complex “System Two” reasoning remains jagged and unreliable. Instead of betting everything on a monolithic reasoning model, developers should compose harder workflows from small decisions reliable enough to become reusable software building blocks.

This changes the optimization target from intelligence per second to intelligence per dollar. Cheap inference makes previously uneconomic applications viable and allows AI decisions to be replicated at software scale. It also gives developers more control than a giant natural-language system prompt, where added complexity often raises the error rate. Almeida’s sharpest product lesson is equally simple: “the product is carrying the marketing.” TypeSafe stayed in stealth for two years, under-promised, and gained attention only when users could reproduce surprising results themselves.

Almeida 最尖锐的产品观点同样简单:“the product is carrying the marketing。”
